Iglesia Bautista de el Valle — a bilingual church site that pays for itself by not being free.
A growing Central Islip congregation needed a real bilingual site — service times, ministries, sermons, calendar — without paying for a fragile Wix subscription that auto-renewed every year.
“Bilingüe, completo, sin gastos mensuales. Forge built our church site the right way the first time — service times, ministries, calendar, sermons — and Forge keeps adding pages for our congregation in Spanish and English both.”
— Pastor Diego Benitez · Pastor · Central Islip, NY
The brief
What we were asked to do.
Pastor Diego's previous site was a free Wix template that hadn't been touched in three years. Service times were stale; the calendar was a static image. The congregation is mixed Spanish + English, but everything on the site was in one language at a time. The work-order: ship a real bilingual site, no monthly subscription, that keeps adding content as the church grows.
