We are a small business on Long Island. We collect the minimum data we need to do the job and we never sell anything.

What we collect

When you open a ticket: your name, business name, email, phone, and what you wrote in the form. When customers log into their dashboard: the email you signed in with. That's it for marketing-site visitors.

What we use it for

Calling you back, writing a work order, billing if you become a customer. We use Stripe for payments and never see your card. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits — no personal data.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS box on our form, you agree to receive text messages from Forge of Long Island (Forge Digital) at the number you gave us — appointment reminders and follow-ups about your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is never required to work with us.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or SMS opt-in with anyone. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. The only exception is trusted providers that help us send the messages you asked for (our texting platform and phone carrier) — never for their own marketing.

Cookies & tracking

One session cookie if you sign into the customer portal. Google Analytics 4 sets a first-party analytics cookie to count visits in aggregate. Otherwise the site sets no marketing or advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.

How we protect your data

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems (our Neon database and Stripe for payments). We keep only what we need, limit who can see it, and delete it on request. We never store card numbers — Stripe handles those directly.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete anything we hold about you, and you can update your contact details or unsubscribe at any time — reply STOP to stop texts, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just email us.
