Changelog

Every update Forge has shipped to this site, newest first — nightly SEO improvements, new trade pages, new town pages, and fixes. Same pipeline runs on every site we build.

  1. July 5, 2026fix

    Redirect /work/marion-rapid-dry to /work

Decommissioned case study was still surfacing in Search Console at position 7 and 404ing. 301 now sends that link equity to the case-study hub instead of a crawl error.

  2. July 2, 2026security

Hard-disable mock auth roster in production

Dashboard auth.ts and auth-actions.ts now refuse the dev mock-user fallback outside local development, closing a production auth gap.

  3. June 30, 2026redesign

Ship the paper + ember redesign

New design system across 45+ routes: 23 SSG trade pages, 3 case studies, 4 learn guides, and the current homepage look.

  4. June 30, 2026fix

    Add /legal redirect to /privacy

/legal 404'd with no page or redirect even though the footer links to Privacy and Terms. Now routes to the canonical legal landing.

  5. June 29, 2026ops

Move nightly analyzer off GitHub Actions cron

GH-runner Google auth was flaky for the nightly crawl. Nightly SEO analysis now runs via Mac launchd at 04:45 ET; the GH workflow stays manual-dispatch only.

  6. June 27, 2026seo

    Reactivate /trades as indexable pages

Was a blanket 301 to / under the single-page pivot. Reopening it as real, crawlable URLs was the single biggest score-mover in the prior SEO audit.

  7. May 26, 2026redesign

    Pivot forgelongisland.com to a single-page conversion site

Collapsed the marketing routes into one homepage plus /start, redirecting old marketing URLs to preserve accumulated Search Console link equity.

  8. May 22, 2026ops

Decommission three phantom sites that never launched

marion-rapid-dry, upstate-door-rescue, and wasatch-haul-away had no domain, no Cloudflare project, and no GitHub repo. Removed from the monorepo and the analyzer registry.
